New Year, New Me Is Bullshit — If You Wanted Change, You’d Start Now

"New Year, New Me” is the lie people tell themselves to delay responsibility. If you really wanted change, you wouldn’t wait for January—you’d start now. This is your wake-up call.

New Year, New Me Is Bullshit — If You Wanted Change, You’d Start Now

If You Want Your Shit Together — Do This Today

Not tomorrow.
Not January 1st.
Today.

This isn’t a 30-day challenge or a cute checklist.
This is a baseline for being a functional man.

1. Lift Heavy Things — On Purpose

Your body is not decoration. It’s a tool.

  • Squat
  • Deadlift
  • Press
  • Pull

Move weight that makes you uncomfortable.
If you’re not breathing hard and questioning your choices, you’re not lifting heavy.

Strength fixes posture, confidence, hormones, discipline, and mindset.
Weak men avoid the barbell because it exposes them.

2. Run — Because Life Will Chase You

You don’t need to love it.
You need to do it.

  • Run outside
  • Breathe hard
  • Embrace the suck

Running teaches you how to stay calm while your body screams to stop.
That skill transfers to every hard moment in life.

You don’t need perfect shoes.
You don’t need a plan.
You need to move.

3. Drink Water Like an Adult

Most of you aren’t tired — you’re dehydrated and under-fueled.

  • Wake up → drink water
  • Before coffee → drink water
  • During the day → drink more

If your piss looks like Mountain Dew, you’re failing the basics.

4. Cut the Bullshit Food

If it comes in a box, bag, or has a commercial — question it.

Eat:

  • Meat
  • Eggs
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Rice
  • Potatoes

Stop outsourcing your health to corporations that profit from keeping you sick, soft, and addicted.

Food is fuel.
Eat like it matters — because it does.

5. Get Sunlight — First Thing

Your phone should not be the first thing you see in the morning.

  • Go outside
  • Expose your eyes to natural light
  • Breathe real air

Sunlight regulates hormones, sleep, mood, and energy.
Nature doesn’t lie to you. Screens do.

6. Stretch — You’re Not “Tight,” You’re Neglected

If you feel stiff, sore, or broken:
It’s because you don’t take care of your body.

  • 10–15 minutes
  • Hips, hamstrings, back, shoulders
  • Every day

Longevity isn’t built in the gym — it’s maintained outside of it.

7. Sit in Silence — And Pray

This part makes weak men uncomfortable.

  • Sit still
  • No phone
  • No noise
  • Just you and your thoughts

Pray.
Reflect.
Ask for strength.
Ask for clarity.
Ask for discipline.

If you can’t sit alone with yourself, you’re avoiding something.

Stillness reveals truth — and truth demands action.

One Rule That Changes Everything

Do not negotiate with yourself.

Once you decide:

  • You train
  • You eat clean
  • You move
  • You show up

There is no debate.

Discipline is not emotional.
It’s contractual.

This Is the Line in the Sand

You don’t need more information.
You don’t need motivation.
You don’t need January.

You need to act like the man you say you want to be.

Right now.
Today.
This moment.

Because the truth is simple:

Your future self is built by what you do next — not what you promise later.
